The Albanian Royal Court

The Royal Court is the term traditionally used for the Royal Family’s administration and household. Currently the Albanian Royal Court is comprised of a household staff, the Royal Council and the office of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess.

During the former years of exile the highest ranked Court official was the Minister of Court, who was able to represent the Royal Family politically as an intermediate figure. Since the return of the Royal Family to Albania in 2002, the head of the Royal Court maintains the title of Chamberlain.
