H.E. Julien Roche receives the Grand Cross of Skenderbeu

Crown Prince Leka has bestowed upon HE Julien Roche the Grand Cross of Skenderbeu in honour of His merits towards the Albanian Nation.

HRH Crown Prince Leka II of the Albanians officially bestowed upon H.E Julien Roche the Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Skenderbeu in recognition of Mr. Roche's 40 years of work in helping Albania. The Crown Prince officially thanked Mr. Roche for his friendship towards the Albanian Royal Family and his help in promoting Albania and the Royal Family internationally.

His Royal Highness also made mention of the many successes Mr. Roche has achieved in business and with his philanthropist engagements. 

This is the first time that the Grand Cross Has been given outside of the Royal Family, since Crown Prince Leka became Head of the Orders.

The Ceremony was attended by members of the intellectual society, with special mention, Elena Kadare and the famous Inva Mula. The Head of the Presidents Cabinet Mr. Arben Cici and The Head of the Prime Ministers Protocol Mr. Thomas Frasheri were also in attendance, as guests of Mr. Roche.

The Royal Orders are only given based on merit. The ceremony followed strict protocol with His Royal Highness Prince Leka and Mr. Roche both giving a speech. The Crown Princes political adviser Mr. Armer Juka read the decree.
